The Carson City Railroad Association (CCRA) became a Foundation partner in 2018. The Association is best known for the Carson & Mills Park Railroad, a narrow-gauge railroad they have operated in Mills Park every summer since 1981. The railroad is open to the public every weekend during the summer months, from Memorial Day until Labor Day, weather permitting.

The Railroad Association also has an extensive model railroad display inside their "depot" at Mills Park adjacent to the Teixeira Pavilion. In addition to the existing medium-size HO and HOn3 layouts in the depot, they also have an N scale layout under construction.
