The Foundation for Carson City Parks & Recreation was so excited about the Mayor’s Park project with the dedication sign that it wanted to add another display in the Carson City Community Center to recognize current and past mayors. To accomplish this, a metal tree of honor was designed with the names of mayors placed on the leaves. The display is located outside of the Robert “Bob” Crowell Board Room where the Board of Supervisors and other boards and commissions regularly meet.

Former Mayor Ray Masayko provided funding this project. The Foundation also recognizes Mayor Lori Bagwell for her vision, and the Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department for its design of the tree.
